Situated on the confluence of Liard and Mackenzie rivers, Fort Simpson (YFS) is a small village which is relatively famous among kayakers and canoeists. Part of Dehcho Region of Northwest Territories, Canada, the village is considered a gateway to Nahanni River and Nahanni National Park Reserve. The region is stuffed with beautiful mountains, rivers, waterfalls and also contains some historic centers.

Mackenzie Mountains is an 800 km long range and a perfect spot for adventure enthusiasts. With its highest peak at about 9700 feet, you can enjoy excellent trekking and beautiful views in the range.
