Independence Palace is open to public and English and French speaking guides are available during opening hours.

One of the most popular museums in Vietnam, War Remnants Museum was formerly the Museum of Chinese and American War Crimes. The museum perfectly conveys the brutality of the war and its victims. The major highlights of the museum are US armoured vehicles, bombs, infantry weapons, and artillery pieces. The ground floor of the War Museum is dedicated to an assortment of photos and posters of children affected by bombing.

Housed in an elegant colonial era building, Fine Arts Museum boasts an impressive collection of art, encompassing lovely pieces from the contemporary period. Much of the collection of the museum is inspired by war and museum also puts on display historical exhibits dating back to the 4th century.
