Traffic is a big problem in Bangkok so its advisable that you know about the best parking locations. You'll find some parking garages near the Ladprao Station and Sukhumvit Station. Also when you are visiting famous attractions like Wat Arun, you'll get the parking right outside the venue.
Try to avoid congested areas like Siam district during the peak hours (8:00 AM - 9:30 AM, 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM) of traffic.
